All are invited to come join us for our weekly Lenten Bible Study, which will start on Wed. March 16th at 7 pm. We will meet in the Church Office of the Manse, located in the yellow house to the right of the Chapel.

The title of the study is "'...for such a time as this:' Courageous Leadership in a Time of Transition and Change." The topic for March 16th is "Threat or Opportunity."

This unique study has been especially prepared by a member of our Presbytery,  the Rev. Dr. Rhonda Myers, who introduces it by saying:

"I am delighted you will be taking part in a Presbytery-wide experiment to engage in a common study during the coming weeks. Lent is a time of examination and preparation for the glory of Easter. I hope this study will encourage you to examine your gifts as a person of faith and that it will, with God's help, prepare you to become the courageous, reflective, and strategic leader that the Lord has in mind for you to be...

...As you will soon learn, Esther becomes queen at a young age. While she is found at first to be a docile, immature girl, she ultimately becomes a woman of incredible strength. Her people are threatened with genocide and she makes a pivotal decision to affect the kind of change that will rescue her people from death. Esther's story is one of faith, courage, and deliverance. I hope that you will find yourself warmly in the presence of God as you and your fellow sojourners in faith make the story of Esther your own."
