"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Dr. Margaret Mead

July 6, 2011 marks the 3rd anniversary of the day Family Promise/WCIHN first opened its doors and started hosting homeless families in transition.
During this time, it has provided 6,257 bednights and 18,771 meals, as well as case management services to 85 people in the IHN program.

And since November 2009, it has helped 149 households in Warren County with the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid ReHousing Program, either by preventing their eviction, or re-housing them if they were homeless. To our knowledge, there is no agency in Warren County and perhaps even NJ, that can claim such accomplishments with a staff of just two people and a network of volunteers.

Oxford Second has been blessed to be part of this powerful ministry, both in providing use of our manse as the Resource Center, and being among the host churches providing meals and overnight accommodations. Our thanks to the many volunteers and supporters who have contributed to this important milestone.
