Following worship
on Sunday, May 16th, all are invited to stay for a special brunch at 12 noon in honor
of Richard B. Smith, Founding Board President of
Warren County Interfaith
Hospitality Network. As many know, Richard was
also a driving force in renovating our manse as a beautiful resource
center to help families in need. He not only generously
contributed to the project, but also helped with the
renovations every weekend
for months as a volunteer with
Habitat for Humanity. We hope you'll join us in thanking Richard for his
compassionate care
and commitment to helping those in need. Thanks to his vision, over the
last 2 years 16 homeless families now have homes again, and 39 other
families have been kept from becoming homeless. Now that's something to celebrate! |
