Be sure to join us for Oxford Second's annual congregational meeting on January 31st, immediately following worship. Coincidentally, it was on January 31, 1866 -- 144 years ago -- that Oxford Second was dedicated as a a full-fledged church. While the meeting will be brief, it will be an important time of sharing information, as well as the election of new officers. Though only members can vote, everyone is encouraged to attend and participate. Bonnie Riley has been nominated to serve as an elder on the session, and new member Pam Pels has been nominated as a deacon. We will also be discussing next steps in our discovery process. Following the meeting, all are invited to join in our "birthday" celebration. |
