150th Anniversary of Brick Church Dedication

Sunday, January 31st will mark a special day in the life of Oxford Second Church. On this day 150 years ago, our newly built brick church was completed and officially dedicated to service. This year also marks the 130th anniversary of the construction of Chapel. All are invited to join us for a special service of celebration followed by our brief annual meeting and refreshments. On the left, the "Brick Church," built in 1866 on a lot donated by the Scranton family. To the right, the wood frame Chapel built in 1886 on the foundation of the original "Stone Chapel" built in 1848. (Photo circa 1916.) Read more about our history here.
