Where to Find Hope

The Advent season is a time of remembering the stories of old, and our own stories, and to see how together they can connect us in special ways to the truths of our Savior

In our busy lives, especially during the holidays, we can easily get lost in our own little worlds. We can become disconnected, and forget that God is the source of all hope,  all joy, and all peace as we trust in Him and turn to Him. But reminders can come from surprising sources.

In this message, we hear a story written by Teresa Olive, in which she describes herself as "The Reluctant Caroler"* transformed by the discovery of hope and joy where she least expected it. The recording concludes with the congregation singing the much loved carol, "Joy to the World."

The message for December 5th is now ready for download.

*"The Reluctant Caroler" is from "A Cup of Comfort for Christmas," edited by Colleen Sell and published by Adams Media.
