When God Seems Silent

In this fast-paced, rapidly changing world, sometimes it can feel hard to keep up. We can be so busy that even our time with God can suffer. That is, until something comes into our life that interrupts, that brings God's name to our lips in a cry for help. But what happens if God seems silent?

Such was the case with Job - a righteous man who had done everything right - but who is put to a horrible test by the devil. And worst of all, God seems strangely silent.

There is a reason for the expression, "having the patience of Job." And sometimes we, too are called to that patience. For reasons we may never understand, God may seem silent to us as well. But that doesn't mean He is absent or that He has forsaken us. And we must never lose hope or be discouraged.
