They all must have been in great shock. Though Jesus had tried to tell his disciples and friends what must happen, they couldn't hear it, and they didn't understand. And now, all they knew was that their beloved leader and teacher was dead. The women were up early that Sunday morning to care for his body, to give him a proper burial, only to find the tomb empty.
