No One Left Out

Ask for a show of hands to the question "Who wants the world to be a better place?" and probably every hand would go up in an instant. Ask "Who thinks it can happen?"  and odds are, you will get a very different response. Asked why, folks would probably answer, "It's just not practical!"

Paul would beg to differ. In spite of all his many difficulties, from shipwrecks to beatings to prison terms, he not only believed it, and he offers practical advice on how to achieve it. In Romans 15, he reminds us that we "need to step in and lend a hand...Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”

And just as Jesus "waded right in and helped out," we're called to do the same. He challenges us to live in harmony with each other, with no one left out; to "reach out and welcome one another to God’s glory."

What's stopping us?
