One of the main reasons we have difficulty trusting is that we are so fearful that we are not going to have what we need. We've been taught to focus on what we don't have, and that the "good stuff" is scarce. And even when we're provided for, our memories are short. This is further complicated by human-made currency - money - and the belief that without money, we have nothing.
