Did you know...many assume that "the woman by the well" was a woman of loose morals because she had been married 5 times, and was with a man she was not married to. They judge her without knowing her true circumstances. But Jesus didn't.

Did you know...women of the time were considered no more than objects. Men started their day by thanking God they were not born a woman. The only thing worse? being a Samaritan woman. Most men would have ignored, dismissed or disrespected the woman at the well. But Jesus didn't.

Did you know...Jesus not only treated the woman with kindness and respect, but he even shared his true identity with her. He accepted her and encouraged her even as he shared a vision of a new way of worshipping God.

Did you know...their conversation is the longest single conversation Jesus had with anyone in the Bible. And the woman quickly ran to share the good news with everyone she knew, becoming the first woman evangelist.
