God works in different ways in each of us to get our attention. It's not an easy task to get us on the right track. In Saul's case, God went to extraordinary lengths. The man we now know as "Paul" was on the road, determined  to continue his persecution of Christians. But God had other plans for Saul:

• He had to be blinded before he could truly see;
• He had to be knocked down before he could be lifted up;
• He had to be help-less before he could be help-ful; and
• He had to be led before he could lead.
