"Be prepared!" We hear it all the time, but do we really pay attention? Especially where it's most important? Matthew shares a parable about 10 maidens - 5 wise, and 5 foolish. 5 are prepared with extra oil for their lamps. 5 are not, and pay the consequences. It is both a warning and a reminder. Time passes quickly in these short lives of ours. It's easy to become lost in distractions, and to lose sight of what is really important. But are we living the life we're meant to live? And are we ready to meet our Lord?
