Life is full of twists and turns and things unexpected, and the early relationship between Mary and Joseph is no exception. Though we don't know a lot about Joseph, we do know he was a Godly man of integrity who deeply cared about Mary. Even when it appeared that she had conceived a child with another man, he was determined to protect her from harm, and end the relationship as quietly as possible.
