All About Trust

A widow who has only enough flour and oil to feed herself and her son one last meal is asked by a total stranger to bring him water and something to eat. To make matters worse, it is in the middle of a drought. But the stanger turns out to be the Prophet Elijah, who offers a unique promise: "This is the word of the God of Israel: 'The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before God sends rain on the land and ends this drought.'" She does as requested, and God Keeps the promise.

God keeps His promises to us as well. There are no promises that life will be easy. But difficult though times may be, we can often see God best when we're put to the test.
